You are assured of the personal attention of the owner/manager, who personally prepares your meals. The lounge is very comfortable and inviting with a cosy fireplace for winter evenings.
The rooms all have en-suite facilities and are well equipped with a.o. electronic safe, tea/coffee station and TV.
Eagle's Rest Guest House is situated on a hill with beautiful views toward the Magaliesberg Mountain Range. All rooms as well as the lounge and deck share this view. The deck cantilevers over the hill and breakfast is served there if the weather permits. The perfect place to watch the African sun set. It is also a perfect venue for small conferences and functions: at night the fairy lights around the deck turns it into a magical place with a view over the town lights.
The owner of Eagle's Rest Guest House is an avid nature lover and the garden is 2300sq metres of indigenous Bushveld vegetation which attracts a large variety of birds and these can be watched from the deck or from your balcony. There is a library with a fairly wide selection of books available for guests to read as well as birding books for avid birders.
Eagle's Rest is ideally situated for tourists and businessmen. It is conveniently close to the N1/N4 interchange which connects all major routes to and from Pretoria/Tshwane. Internet and fax facilities are available at reception. Tours and transfers can be arranged.
