“During the holidays, we tested a new data projector, the Optoma DS316L. To date this is the best SVGA data projector we have ever tested. It is highly suited to the demanding Classroom environment.

The contrast is a stunning 4000:1, providing pin sharp images. But what really impressed us is that the 2700 ANSI bulb is perfect for harsh classroom lighting, making the image bright even in classrooms that have no curtains or blinds! Having sold the Optoma brand to schools and colleges around South Africa, it is a brand that we would go out of our way to recommend as very reliable. Edu-Board has developed a non reflective whiteboard specifically for data projectors and the CM2 Max. This has been developed specifically for schools. Using the Non Reflective whiteboard means the CM2 MAX Interactive whiteboard device can now have an excellent visual effect that is as good as any of the expensive IWB brands.

Edu-Board has a few different Non Reflective whiteboard offerings. This includes different size boards and configurations. One of the boards is a standard 1200mm x 1600mm, it is free standing on a metal stand with castor wheels - this board is double sided - the one side is non reflective and the other side can be used as a standard whiteboard. The board can flip round. A great practical idea for classrooms.
