A STUDIO PHOTO SHOOT FOR THE NON MODEL [Monday, June 20, 2011]

It has been a trend for some time now for ladies of all ages to treat themselves to a professional studio photo shoot as a treat or to celebrate a milestone in their lives. Much like a Spa treatment, you are pampered and made to feel like a star at FOTOMAN Studio.

The first 45 minutes is taken up by our professional make-up artist doing your make-up, after which she leaves and we begin the shoot. Our most popular package is the 3 hr studio shoot. I always encourage clients to bring not more than 4 clothing outfits to allow us enough time for good photography. After the shoot the images are downloaded and the client select the images she wants me to edit. A lot of time goes into the editing of the images in order for each one to look great. A fine balance is needed for true editing. We do not rebuild a person into someone unnatural or attempt to do plastic surgery, but rather to present the person with the very best natural, photographic version of their current look.
