GWD collectively has over 100years experience in the planning, design and development of automobiles and trucks and components at an international level. Members worked on the design and development of the Cortina Pickup - or 1ton pickup and headed the development of the latest Ford Bantam Pickup from design renderings through to manufacturing through to sales and marketing.
We were motivated by the PE auto industry to create 200 factories in informal and rural settlements countrywide which will provide the foundation to address poverty and unemployment countrywide by expanding South Africa's manufacturing footprint.
