Our courses have been designed and developed to ensure that the maximum amount of knowledge and skills are transferred from our material and instructors to your personnel, ensuring our best service to you, our client. While monitoring all trainees during theory and practical sessions and reinforcing all aspects of the course, we will show an improvement in your trainees’ ability to reduce machine downtime, thus obviously increasing productivity and an upturn in profitability.

For your information we would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the following sub-regulation as stated by the Department of Manpower:

‘’The User* shall ensure that every lifting machine is operated by an Operator specifically trained for a particular type of lifting machine, provided that in the case of lifting trucks with a lifting capacity of 750kg or more, and job cranes with a lifting capacity of 5000kg or more, at a minimum radius, the user shall not require or permit any person to operate such a lifting machine unless the operator is in possession of a certificate of training, issued by a Person or Organization approved for this purpose by the Chief Inspector’’

(* The User of a lifting machine can be taken to mean the lifting machine Operator, and not the owner or the company management.)

Independent Cranes cc was established in June 2003.  Our clientele has grown enormously since then.  We proud ourselves in excellent service based on crane sales, service and hydraulic equipment repairs.  We are 100% HDI Equity Ownership. 

The member of the cc responsible was awarded the official Copma Crane Agency in the Western Cape as well as the MPE Aerial Platforms.
