This K53 DVD was designed to help South African learner drivers who cannot afford driving lessons, as well as those who are taking lessons at a registered driving school. Here you will see how to do what is necessary in the correct way.
If you watch each module over and over and practise exactly the same way, you can pass first time!
Students taking lessons who want to check if they are being taught correctly according to the K53 manual can use this DVD at a cost of R100.00 to make sure, and keep lessons to an affordable level.
The driving instructor demonstrating the standard is Pat Allen, National President of SAIDI, The Southern African Institute of Driving Instructors with 32 years of experience. K53 DVD [Wednesday, 12 January 2011]

This DVD is designed to help all South African learner drivers to pass the K53 test the first time. To help you, it was demonstrated by the National President of SAIDI - The Southern African Institute of Driving Instructors, Pat Allen, who has 32 years experience as a driving instructor, and won a title as Woman Driver of the Year through the Institute for Advanced Motorists.

Incidentally, we strongly recommend that new drivers consult our webpage at http://www.saidi.co.za to find a safe driving instructor rather than get cheated by one who is operating illegally or teaching incorrectly. (Make sure they have a dual control brake and sign-marking, keep records, and give you a receipt - that is the law or they are operating illegally).

For students already taking driving lessons, this DVD will help you to check if you are being correctly trained according to the K53 manual, and provide you with extra support.

However, there are many students who simply cannot afford to take any driving lessons. This DVD is ideal for them. We recommend that you watch each module over and over again, and practise (with a legal driver of the same code), until you find it easy and comfortable to follow the demonstrations.

You don't need me to tell you that with a driver's licence you stand a much better chance of employment and an independent future as an adult.
