Nexion -- New functionality including Preauthorization on Cards [Friday, May 13, 2011]
New Nexion features:
Report Subscription:
Nexion now allows you to subscribe to daily, weekly and monthly reports, reports will be delivered to the e-mail addresses specified as scheduled by you. Keep in touch with your cash flow by having reports delivered to you.
Pre Authorization of Cards:
Nexion now allows you to “reserve” funds on a credit card allowing you to guarantee funds for 5 to 7 working days. This feature will allow you to collect shortfalls and to lock in funds on your clients cards prior to services being rendered.
Deposit Cash & Cheques:
Nexion now allows YOU to determine when you deposit your cash and cheques, Transactions will remain in pending state you have initiated a deposit. Cash and Cheque transactions will now reflect on your Cash report (renamed Bank Recon Report) on the date the actual deposit was processed. Nexion will also generate a report that provides details to a client level for filing with the deposit records from the bank or to use for signoff when cash is handed over.
Process Refunds:
Nexion will now allow you to process refunds without jeopardizing the security of your cash flow.
- All refunds will retain the referencing of the original payment received
- Card refunds can only be processed to the SAME CARD used in the original transaction
- Refund cannot exceed total of original payment received.
All refunds will reflect on both Submission and Bank Recon (Cash) report to allow for seamless reconciliation to both your Debtor/Billing system and your Bank accounts.
Enhanced features:
Registration of patients for stop-orders and processing of Stop Order transactions:
Nexion has simplified the data capture required to register a stop order and has simplified the actual processing of a stop order transaction. You will now be able to take control of your stop order transactions and process them in the practice in one easy step.
New Nexion Payment Screen:
Nexion has added transaction type specific buttons to both speed up transaction processing time by eliminating unnecessary pop-up windows and to give a total overview of tools available to collect payments.
