Phoenician Kennels and Grooming parlour wasstarted by Hennah Jonker in 1987.
Mike Jonker joined her a year later when the work load became too mutch.
Hennah received her dog grooming training from a professional groomer andpassed these skills on to Mike.
Initially all grooming was done by Mike & Hennah but this also was shortlived since the business kept on growing.
It was now necessary to train staff to assist with the grooming.
We are proud of our staff turnover record which reflects that the staff memberwith the shortest service is 9 years. The total service experience of ourorganization is 130 years.
As the kennel and cattery facility is basedin Brakpan, it is popular especially in Boksburg, Benoni, Germiston andSprings.
We intend to render the same service excellence as in the past and will notcompromise.

Take the R23 South to Brakpan. At Brakpancross the M46 andthe N17 to the R554where you turn left towards Springs.

We are a dog kennel and cattery offering an excellent accommodation service.Our tariffs are reasonable and do not fluctuate during the year. These tariffs are revised annually during October.
We also have a dog grooming service with well trained staff who are able to groom any breed.
Our staff member with the shortest service is 9 years indicating the pleasant working conditions.
Our organisation also offers a call and deliver service in the Brakpan area.
