Weplay was launched in Taiwan in 1999, with the goal of creating educational products that promote children’s communication and motor skills, and stimulate their creativity while they learn.

It has won multiple international design awards including the Red Dot Design Award of Germany, the IF Design Award of Germany, the Good Design Award of Japan and the Taiwan Good Design Product Award.

Weplay was launched in South Africa in September 2007, and was welcomed nationwide with great enthusiasm by parents, teachers, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

The development of a child from crawling to walking on his own marks the passage of time and is the accumulation of his very own experience of life.

There is no shortcut to the growing process; it is one tiny step after another that needs to be carried out by the child himself. Helping a child along this way is our goal along with the parent and educator.
